In this blog I will share about design orchard store. Have you heard about this store?
If you haven’t let me explain it to you, Design orchard is a new retail store in Singapore. This new store open their doors for almost 61 local designers, from clothing design, product design, household, accessories, cosmetics, until food.
Everything is in that store, ok!
Singapore brand who featured their collection in this store are Ying The Label, Weekend Sundries, David’s Daughter, and, Binary style.
For fashion student like, we always like to explore new places just to get inspirations. Design Orchard will be the great place for us because they have a cafe and a event space on their rooftop!
What a great place to go right?! For my opinion Design orchard store is the best place for fashion and design student, the ambience is comfortable and very welcoming.
Outside wise, the architecture is interesting and unique, it makes people want to go inside. But after you go inside their store arrangement is more or less look like a regular department store. I can say that it looks like a department store with higher interpretation. Second thing that I noticed it is pretty hard to know the unique selling of the brand, and the solution is the store putting a descriptions near the rack.
Last thing that made me disappointed is, when I went to the store everything is not ready. The employee still doesn’t get know how is the flow in the store, some of the brand has a price and some of the has not.
Despite, all of the bad first impression in Design Orchard store, it definitely will be my new place to go!
