MEETING UP WITH - Raffles College of Higher Education

Hello guys!

Sorry for the late update :( I have been busy with my school assignment.

Now Im back and I sharing my experiences at Raffles University of Higher Education Open House.

Established in 1990, Raffles university now has 22 University in twenty countries across the world.

Today I will joining their open house at Merchant Road, Let's gooo !!!1

In this event Raffles has a lot of workshop and exhibition.

They have workshop for people who interest in fashion design, fashion marketing, Jewellery design, Product design, Graphic Design, Animation design, Digital Media, and interior design.

The university also provide a special workshop, which is Wood block typesetting and letter printing, but too bad because I did get to opportunity to attend this special workshop.

I was so interested with fashion design workshop, so I went there. The first thing that I notice is DRAWING! I hate drawing, because Im such a uncreative person, it is really hard for me to show my feelings with art as the media. I was so nervous, the lecturer given me a A3 paper, a lot of colourful paper, scissor, glue, colourful pens.

As someone who always plans everything, its really hard for me to draw something randomly. But I tried ok! hahaha don't judge my drawing and my weird wonderland that I draw, hahahaha!

things that I learnt from this workshop is mixed media art form is fun! I can try to create a drawing and mixed it with another techniques such as creating a 3D pattern from a scissor. This fashion design workshop also taught me to work with the art, my art. There is no limitation, when you believe in yourself and letting you feeling flow with the arts you'll be able to create any drawings that represent you.

Let your mind free, and create something that represent you.

sometimes we just need to relax, and just do it.
