On this opportunity I will share to you about one of my course that I took in International fashion business. Global Experiences is course that let you travel to other countries. It aims to add experiences in fashion, art, and culture. This class help you to have a different perspective about fashion industry in the world.
This time my class is going to Melbourne! *I’ve never been to Melbourne before, so I’m sure that it will be excited!* The trip will be five days five nights, and it will be full of all the event from the Melbourne Fashion Week, and art trip! I can’t wait to share the pictures and stories to you! But before that, I will share the reason and what are my expectation through this program.
Why Melbourne?
Honestly our first choices was Shanghai, Japan, and Melbourne. Japan was out on the first round because we can’t really find events that are happening in there, next was Shanghai and Melbourne. The class decided to choose Melbourne as the final destination because of the Melbourne Fashion Week, other consideration is because this event they have lots of program and fashion event.
What do I expect?
I did some research about Melbourne, and Australia since I love art and fashion. Melbourne is also the great place for sustainable products. It will be really excited if I can find and visit an organic local store that can support me knowledge about hair care or personal care. Since I will be creating a haircare product for my final graduation, I want to know more about their organic industry, and how they create such an organic and sustainable product. Fashion organisation and coordination is my passion, and by this event I hope that I can get different perspective and experiences that can support my passion.
What’s next?
On the next blog I will explain more about Melbourne Fashion Week and highlighting some of their event. I always passionate about fashion event, and with this course it can be a ticket for me to find a new path. A path that I always wanted, I wonder how great it will be.
