I finished Advance Diploma on September 2018. Before, I was having four months break because my bachelor started on January.
During the breaks I was thinking about what Im gonna do with my future career as a fashion marketer. One of the advantage is you will have a lot of choice of working area such as visual merchandising, become a fashion buyer, or fashion coordinator event.
However, in the last couples weeks I feel so happy and grateful. Im thankful that universe still giving me the opportunity to continue my journey in fashion industry, I understand that the journey that I take wouldn’t be easy, but I’m ready to continue this journey with the hope I can come back to school with a great attitude and passion.
My first blog that I write today will be about my future career. “What I want to do next?” The question that always appears in my mind.
Before I start I want tell you my background and the reason why I choose this particular courses.
Im an Indonesian girl who live in small city, my passion about fashion and beauty started when I learned about makeup, Make up made me feel comfortable and happy. While I’m finishing my study in high school I started to work as a freelance make up artist for birthday party or bridesmaid.
“How can from beauty you move yourself to fashion?” I know you will be wondering, I believe that make up is easier to learn, specially with the existence of internet. From that I searching for anti mainstream class that has a relation with fashion, later then I found out about fashion marketing.
I choose this because I feel that fashion marketing will expand my opportunity and experience in fashion industry.
One thing that I realise about fashion marketing is that I really like to create a event. The feeling when you organise and create something that you can share to people is amazing! and I just so in love doing it.
Almost two years has passed since I started my diploma in Singapore. So here we are fighting and working hard for the degree. Next I want to work in the company that I went for internship ( I hope that this year will be my opportunity to find more choices, and finding what I like)
