I know some people who’s new in this blog will be curious too, so let’s start!
I believe you must been wondering “Who is YOYO KULALA?” Ok, before I start this interesting topic I will share who she is.
Yoyo Kulala is a celebrity Instagram from Singapore, She is Singapore’s biggest style star and designer. Started with uploading a lot of aesthetic pictures in Instagram she becoming the star of fashion in Singapore, since she was a young girl Yoyo Cao always wanted to do something that related to fashion. Everything begins when she was being a shopper in Singapore.
After working in Singapore, She saw a gap and decided to bring in her own label called Exhibit.
So, exhibit is having a private pop up store, before I explain my experience let me share to you the background of exhibit.
Founded by Yoyo Kulala in 2010, Exhibit is a womenswear label based in Singapore. The founder realise that Singapore has lacked of product that are well made and “Made in Asia”. Exhibit identity is androgyny and minimalism.
This Pop up store is consider simple and private, because she only share it on her social media. So she only focused on her audience in her Instagram. People can go inside and check her exhibit collection, Yoyo also selling some of her own clothes, bags, and accessories.
From this pop up store, there is one thing that I realise. How strong and impressive is social media, with sharing an aesthetic pictures and creating a strong self branding someone can easily gaining a followers and becoming an influencer. it made me realise that self branding is pretty common and becoming one of greatest marketing platform.
